Any documentation concerning home instruction should be submitted to the superintendent, c/o home instruction specialist, who is the superintendent’s designee with issues relating to home instruction.
High school-aged home instruction students may participate in Advanced Placement and Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) examinations. Please contact the school counseling department of your child’s base high school before the end of September for PSAT registration information and before the end of February for AP test registration information. Chesterfield County Schools offers PSAT tests to 10th-grade home instruction students at no charge.
