Children need healthy meals to learn, and Chesterfield County Public Schools offers nutritious meals every school day. Information about free or reduced-price meal eligibility is now available online.
To apply for free or reduced-price meals, families must complete an application. Only one application is needed per household, and forms are available in school offices and school cafeterias. Parents also may apply online for quicker approval. If your family was approved for free or reduced-price meals during the last school year, your current application expires Oct. 17, 2017.
For the 2017-18 school year, the reduced fees will be waived so that students who qualify for reduced-price breakfasts and lunches will receive them free. The school division’s participation in the federal Child Nutrition Programs (School Board policy 7010) is available at mychesterfieldschools.com and includes the meal charge policy, communicating the meal charge policy, notification to the household of low or negative balance in student cafeteria account, delinquent meal charge debt, bad meal charge debt and collection procedures for delinquent and bad meal charge debt and adverse action. www.heartlandapps.com/Letter.aspx?host=mychesterfieldschools.heartlandapps.com&apply=1&api=f1f095... #oneCCPS ...
