Chesterfield County Public Schools publications win national recognition

Chesterfield County Public Schools won five awards in the publications and electronic media competition of the National School Public Relations Association, which had almost 1,000 entries:

  • The 2014-15 parent handbook won an Award of Excellence in the handbook category. Only three of these top awards were presented nationwide in this category. Here’s a link to the online version: com/wp-content/uploads/parents_files/ParentHandbook2014-15.pdf.

  • An SOL review session poster won an Award of Merit in the special purpose publication category.
  • An SAT/ACT academy poster received an honorable mention in the special purpose publication category.
