More than 4,400 students to graduate June 4-8 from Chesterfield County Public Schools

More than 4,400 Chesterfield students will receive their high school diplomas during graduation ceremonies June 4-8 at VCU’s Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St.

One high school principal is retiring: This will be Principal Steve Cunningham’s 11th and final Matoaca High School graduation ceremony; he has worked 36 years in Chesterfield County Public Schools.

Tickets are required to attend graduation, but the ceremonies will be streamed live online at http://vcuathletics.tv/flash/ramradio.php and will be shown live on Comcast Channel 96. Also, each graduation will be re-broadcast exactly two weeks later on Comcast Channel 96 and on Verizon Fios Channel 26.

Here is the schedule of graduations:

  • Cosby High students will graduate at 10 a.m. June 4. The ceremony will replay at 10 a.m. June 18.
  • James River High students will graduate at 2:30 p.m. June 4. The ceremony will replay at 2:30 p.m. June 18.
  • Midlothian High students will graduate at 7 p.m. June 4. The ceremony will replay at 7 p.m. June 18.
  • Manchester High students will graduate at 10 a.m. June 5. The ceremony will replay at 10 a.m. June 19.
  • Matoaca High students will graduate at 2:30 p.m. June 5. The ceremony will replay at 2:30 p.m. June 19.
  • Thomas Dale High students will graduate at 7 p.m. June 5. The ceremony will replay at 7 p.m. June 19.
  • Clover Hill High students will graduate at 10 a.m. June 6. The ceremony will replay at 10 a.m. June 20.
  • Monacan High students will graduate at 2 p.m. June 6. The ceremony will replay at 2 p.m. June 20.
  • Meadowbrook High students will graduate at 10 a.m. June 8. The ceremony will replay at 10 a.m. June 22.
  • Bird High students will graduate at 2:30 p.m. June 8. The ceremony will replay at 2:30 p.m. June 22.
  • Chesterfield Community High students will graduate at 7 p.m. June 8. The ceremony will replay at 7 p.m. June 22.
