Scott is the first K-12 educator to be recognized with the Chairman’s Award. On May 3, at the Chesterfield County Police Department Volunteer Appreciation Dinner the Veterinary Science Classes from 2005-2018 as well as Michaela Dismann, instructor, were awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Service Award for volunteering at the animal shelter. Bird High School CTE had 23 classes/450 students plus 50 Ambassadors working on the “Hour of Code” Her is a link to their PHOTOS.  


Students of all ages and their families explored career and technical education opportunities and learned how K-12 choices prepare students to succeed in their future careers.
