Explore career and technical education opportunities Feb. 8 during open houses at both campuses of the Career and Technical Center of Chesterfield County Public Schools. Students, parents and community members are invited to tour the buildings, see demonstrations and get information about career and technical education courses:

  • The Career and Technical Center @ Courthouse will be open 1-3 p.m. Feb. 8; the address is 10101 Courthouse Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23832.
  • The Career and Technical Center @ Hull will be open 2-4 p.m. Feb. 8; the address is 13900 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA 23112.

In Chesterfield County Public Schools, students can enroll in a technical program and still maintain a college preparatory schedule. Students in many courses earn industry certification or college credit.

Students in grades 9-11 may apply for admission and are selected based on grades, attendance, behavior, counselor’s evaluation and other factors. Acceptance letters for the 2015-16 school year will be mailed in mid-March.
