Business and Community Resource Bank

Students in Chesterfield County Public Schools benefit when business and community leaders spend time in schools or invite classes into their workplaces for tours.  Teachers also like opportunities to visit businesses and industries to increase their knowledge and understanding of the 21st-century skills being used in the workplace today. Businesses and the community benefit from an engaged and well-educated workforce.

The Business and Community Resource Bank helps classrooms connect with business and community leaders. By submitting a survey, businesses are stepping forward to support Chesterfield students in a meaningful way, and teachers requesting these resources will enrich classrooms in Chesterfield.

STEM

Science, technology, engineering and math were the focus of Chesterfield’s first STEM Fair, which took place at the Science Museum of Virginia. Elementary, middle and high school students competed in STEM Olympics and minute-to-win-it events that required teamwork, problem solving and high-level thinking. Fine Art

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but one picture cannot adequately portray the Fine Arts Festival. That’s why you should watch this brief video.
