The Super Senior Passport program is designed to thank senior residents for their support and to encourage them to remain active in Chesterfield schools. If you are 60 or older and a resident of Chesterfield County, we invite you to apply for a Super Senior Passport card.

Super Senior Passports provide

  • Discounted tuition for some adult education classes on a space-available basis
  • Discounted tuition in a particular class is not guaranteed. Materials must be purchased and textbook fees must be paid. Course schedules for adult education classes are mailed each August and January. For more information on classes, call 768-6140.
  • Free admission to school athletic events
  • Free admission to school music and theater productions
  • Free admission to certain other school activities for which fees are charged

We are sorry that this excludes admission to tournaments and playoffs. Seating may be limited at some theater productions so please call the school in advance. Super Senior Passport cards may only be used by the person whose name is on the card and will not work for guests of the cardholder.

We invite you to volunteer in our schools. Sharing your life experiences, memories, technical know-how or friendship with a young person will make a difference. Some seniors spend one or two days a week in our schools listening to students read, helping in the library, being a lunch buddy or mentor or assisting in a variety of ways. To volunteer at a school, please contact the principal or volunteer coordinator.

STEM

Science, technology, engineering and math were the focus of Chesterfield’s first STEM Fair, which took place at the Science Museum of Virginia. Elementary, middle and high school students competed in STEM Olympics and minute-to-win-it events that required teamwork, problem solving and high-level thinking. Fine Art

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but one picture cannot adequately portray the Fine Arts Festival. That’s why you should watch this brief video.
