Each student who is found eligible for special education services and attends a Chesterfield school has an individualized education plan (IEP). This plan, including programming services, is developed by a team that includes the child’s parents, teachers and school administrator.
Parent/Teacher Resource Center (P/TRC)
Located at the Fulghum Center, the P/TRC serves as a resource for parents and teachers. Parents and teachers may attend a variety of courses offered throughout the year, borrow materials from the lending library or request consultations from the P/TRC staff.
The AT Center provides assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support for students and teachers. Consultations and evaluations are provided through the AT Center. Please contact Lisa Kinton at 594-1735, or e-mail Lisa_Kinton@ccpsnet.net with questions.
