Meeting notices

At 5 p.m. Nov. 15 in art room 5 at Clover Hill High School, 13301 Kelly Green Lane, the Chesterfield County School Board will meet in closed session under Section 2.2-3711(A)(2) of the Code of Virginia to discuss student discipline. (This meeting for student discipline was previously planned for Nov. 14, then moved to Nov. 15.) After the closed session, the Chesterfield County School Board will hold a brief business meeting to adopt technical amendments to School Board policy
4010-R covering student conduct.

Members of the Chesterfield County School Board may attend a community reception for School Board Chair Dianne E. Pettitt that begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at Clover Hill High School, 13301 Kelly Green Lane. After representing the Clover Hill District since 1993, she is retiring from the School Board at the end of 2011.

Members of the Chesterfield County School Board may attend the Virginia School Boards Association conference Nov. 16-18 in Williamsburg.

At 5 p.m. Nov. 29 in the superintendent’s conference room of the School Administration Building, 9900 Krause Road, the Chesterfield County School Board will meet in closed session under Section 2.2-3711(A)(2) of the Code of Virginia to discuss student discipline.

At 7 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road, the Chesterfield County School Board will hold a public hearing on the capital improvement plan for fiscal years 2013-2017. Members of the Chesterfield County School Board may attend a community reception for School Board member Marshall W. Trammell Jr. that begins at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at Thomas Dale High School, 3626 W. Hundred Road. After representing the Bermuda District since 1991, he is retiring from the School Board at the end of 2011.
