Do you know a principal who goes above and beyond in their school to provide a positive learning setting for students and staff? Nominate an outstanding principal for the R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership.
The R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership recognizes principals who go beyond the day-to-day demands of their position to create an exceptional educational environment. One principal from each local school system, Chesterfield, Henrico and Hanover counties and the city of Richmond, is honored annually.
The Community Foundation of Richmond and the R.E.B. Foundation oversee the R.E.B. Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership. For nearly 30 years, the R.E.B. Foundation and the Community Foundation have worked in partnership to promote excellence in public education. Through awards programs for public school teachers and principals, they seek to honor those individuals who work tirelessly to ensure that youth have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
Nominations are accepted from the school community and the community at-large. Each winner will receive $7,500 for their own use and $7,500 to use for a school project.
