Oct. 27-Nov. 3 is College and Career Readiness Week

The 63 schools of Chesterfield County Public Schools will help the district’s 58,000+ students envision and plan for their futures after high school during College and Career Readiness Week, which will take place Oct. 27 through Nov. 3.

School and classroom activities will include information about choosing a college, career and technical education opportunities, career choices and more. Here are some of the scheduled events:

  • Oct. 30 is Career Readiness Night at the Career and Technical Center @ Courthouse, 10101 Courthouse Road. All Chesterfield County students and families are invited 6-8 p.m. Oct. 30 to explore the variety of career paths available during and after high school.
  • On Oct. 31, students are encouraged to attend school dressed to represent their future profession or their future college.

· College fairs will take place 4:30-6 p.m. Nov. 2 at Clover Hill High, 13301 Kelly Green Lane, and 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Chester campus of John Tyler Community College, 13101 Jefferson Davis Highway.
