Loan Forgiveness
Are you excited about your career as a teacher, but concerned about your student loan debt? We have good news! You may be eligible for the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program. This is a program managed by the US Department of Education to help recruit and retain teachers at high-needs schools across the country.
To qualify, you must teach for five complete and consecutive years in a low-income school. Low-income schools are defined as schools which have at least 30.1% of students who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Of Chesterfield’s 64 schools, 34 qualify for this program. Tuition Reimbursement
Do you have a desire to grow professionally and academically, but are worried about the high cost of college tuition? Do you want to invest in your future and grow your earning potential? Chesterfield County Public Schools’ Tuition Assistance Program is designed for people like you!
Twice a year, CCPS awards reimbursement for completed college courses, and any full-time employee is eligible. All you have to do is sign up for a college class, earn a passing grade, send us your transcripts, and you could receive up to $2,000 per year to help pay for your college courses. C-Fit
Do you want to work for an employer who values your physical health? Chesterfield County Public Schools has an employee wellness program called C-Fit which is specifically designed for your physical well-being. Some of the many benefits of C-Fit include nutrition and diet programs, smoking-cessation programs, fitness classes and much more. We also offer a wellness incentive program where you can earn up to $360 by practicing good health habits.
