Over the course of 150-plus years, Chesterfield County Public Schools have been served by outstanding people. Whether it’s teachers, administrators, support staff or community volunteers, our nationally recognized school division has been supported by individuals who have given their time and talents to impact our students’ education in a meaningful way.

In recognition of this exceptional work, Chesterfield County Public Schools and the Chesterfield Education Foundation will be honoring up to 13 individuals for their superior contributions to the education of Chesterfield County  students. The creation of a Chesterfield County Public Schools Hall of Fame will recognize individuals for making a significant difference in our schools.

Advisory committees established by the Chesterfield County School Board are one way that community members can connect with their local schools. Such advisory committees can provide guidance and recommendations regarding issues critical to the successful operation and academic performance of Chesterfield County Public Schools.

WHAT: The Falling Creek Middle boys mentoring program, Young Gentlemen of the Creek, will hold their annual necktie ceremony on Nov. 29.  There will be a motivational speaker and then the Young Gentlemen will be able to shop from the hundreds of neckties that have been donated.  This year, neckties have been donated by Virginia Union University… Full Article
