Cheryl Kashmer is a caring and dedicated preschool teacher. She builds strong relationships with students and families. Her classroom is often filled with laughter as students have fun learning while making new discoveries. Students in Cheryl’s class are prepared for success in kindergarten, both academically and socially.
Amy Tirrell is a talented, dedicated and collaborative art teacher. She shares her love for art with students and celebrates the artist in each child. She takes the time to differentiate art lessons to meet the needs of Head Start, VPI and ECSE students. She collaborates with teachers to create differentiated small groups that support fine motor development, color recognition and other developmentally appropriate early learning skills. In addition to her classroom responsibilities, she also supports student arrival and dismissal. Mrs. Tirrell is a strong advocate for art education and is a valuable part of the CECLA school family.
