Rovez Ingram - Principal

I am absolutely ecstatic to be serving as the principal of Marguerite Christian Elementary! I am confident the 2019-2020 school year will be amazing and the Marguerite Christian Lions will be feasting on success!

In 2004, I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Afterwards, I took my first teaching position with Richmond Public Schools and I taught fifth, fourth, and second grades. During my ten year tenure with RPS, I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned a Master of Education degree in Special Education, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership. I obtained a grade four teaching position with Chesterfield County Public Schools in 2014, and was promoted to assistant principal the following year. I served as the assistant principal of Matoaca Elementary for three years.

In my leisure, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. Additionally, I love grilling, traveling, and watching the Carolina Panthers during football season!

I’m looking forward to partnering with all members of the Marguerite Christian family to make this an exciting school year! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance.

Lisa Davis - Associate Principal

I am so excited to be the Associate Principal of Marguerite Christian Elementary School!

I graduated from Longwood College in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. While teaching in Lynchburg City Schools, I earned a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. My 14 years of teaching includes 8 years in the classroom for grades K-2 and 6 years as an Instructional Technology Specialist for grades K-5. I am beginning my fifth year as an administrator in Chesterfield County Public Schools.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA and I love living in Chesterfield. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy watching our son play travel soccer and watching our daughter cheer competitively. Our family also loves attending UVA sporting events, GO HOOS!

I truly believe that all students can learn and be successful. My priority as an administrator is to ensure that all students feel safe and secure at school. I will strive to build positive relationships with our students, staff and community members to create a safe and secure environment. I am looking forward to a fantastic year working with you and your children. #PowerofthePride

Kerensa Sheehan - Dean of Students

I am so excited to be the Dean of Students here at Marguerite Christian. After graduating from Longwood College with a degree in Elementary Education, I began teaching in a private school in Northern Virginia. Over the seven years that I was there, I taught grades Four through Eight and Algebra. My friends finally convinced me to move to the Richmond Area in 2000. I taught grades Five and Three in Henrico County for 6 years before moving to Chesterfield County Public Schools in 2006 after I got married. I started as a Fifth Grade teacher and then moved to the Title I Math Specialist where I got to work with lots of small groups of children each year to help boost their skills and confidence in Mathematics.

I was given many opportunities to lead teachers which helped me to decide that I wanted to work towards a degree in Administration and Supervision. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. My son and I like to go to the beach and just chill. I also enjoy watching my husband and son compete in triathlons together. One of the reasons I got into education is because I strongly believe that every child can succeed when they have the support from caring and loving people all around them. I look forward to working with all of the students and parents and helping them to reach their goals.
