The Virginia Technology Engineering Education Association held their annual summer conference in Alexandria Virginia. This was Chesterfield’s night. Cosby High School won the Outstanding High School Program of the Year. In the picture from left to right is Ben Snyder, principal, John Ligon, and Sam Leone, both engineering teachers.
In addition, Chesterfield CTE also won the Outstanding Middle School Program of the Year. This award went to Alisa Rushing, teacher at Swift Creek Middle School. Alisa and her principal, Dr. Frye, are pictured to the right along with David Eshelman, Director of Career and Technical Education.
Additionally, Cliff Jones from Falling Creek Middle School won the Business Service Award recognized by the VTEEA. Way to go Mr. Jones!
Also, Dr. David Eshelman was recognized with the Outstanding Supervisory Service Award from the VTEEA. Congratulations to all!
