Chesterfield County Public Schools

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to Cosby High School, where we help each Titan focus on learning, growing, and Striving for Excellence in Everything!  Students at Cosby have access to over 250 different courses across 10 academic departments in addition to course opportunities at the Chesterfield Technical Center and CCPSOnline.  Our faculty is committed to meeting the unique needs of each of our students, striving to give our Titans the skills, dispositions, and abilities to be leaders in our community today and tomorrow.

Guided by our motto of “Strength, Pride, Success with Honor,” we are proud of the accomplishments and accolades of our students and faculty.  The Virginia Department of Education recognized Cosby as a recipient of the 2019 Board Education Award for Educational Excellence, and our performing arts department was recognized with a Blue Ribbon Award from the Virginia Music Educators Association.  In 2019, Cosby athletics was honored with the Virginia Wells Fargo Cup for the third time, an award presented to the school with the best record in state competitions across all sports.  Finally, in 2015, the United States Department of Education selected Cosby High School as a Blue Ribbon Award for School Excellence.

We welcome our students in the Governor’s Health Science Academy from throughout the school division.  We thank our business partners and health care providers for their support as we continue to prepare students who have shown an interest in serving as healthcare professionals in the future.

Thank you for visiting our school, and we appreciate everything that you do to support our students.  As we continue to learn and grow together, I look forward to seeing the successes of each of our students.
