Chesterfield, VA. March 26, 2020 – Our community has been faced with a challenging time given our current environment. We understand the impact that COVID-19 has had on our families and students. From schools closing for the remainder of the academic school year and halting educational opportunities to families facing economic instability and food insecurity, the hardships many are facing are not going unnoticed. A lot has been thrown at Chesterfield County and the world during these last two weeks. However, even with all of that, we still have people asking, “How can we support our community members in need?”

You’re invited to Crenshaw’s STEAM Night on Thursday, March 5 from 5:30pm-6:30pm! Celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math with hands-on challenges, Mathnasium, Robotics, and a Cardinal Craze Scavenger Hunt!

Family Engagement Survey

We have just opened up the Title 1 Family Engagement Survey for this year. The feedback Crenshaw gets from this survey helps us plan events and better meet the needs and wants of our community. Help us out by completing the survey today.

Internet Safety Session

This Thursday we will be hosting a family engagement session from 5:00-6:30 about Internet safety. See the attached flyer for more details. Please return the RSVP to be included in the dinner count. We hope to see you there!

Clothing to Cash

A Clothing to Cash bin was recently placed in the Crenshaw parking lot. Please consider donating any clothes, shoes, or linens you no longer need. When placing items in the bin, please make sure they are in a bag. Crenshaw receives 10 cents per pound of clothes donated to benefit our staff!
