PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear students, parents, and community members of the Chesterfield Career and Technical Center:

Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in Chesterfield County. The Technical Center is where students explore their career paths to prepare them for higher education or early entry into the workforce. Our students thrive on the practical experience they learn in our building, the networking that connects them to our community partners, or the career readiness skills they learn as young adults. From industry recognized certifications to dual enrollment programs, the Tech Center caters to a wide variety of students and interests.

Our Tech Center staff is very proud and dedicated to welcome you to an entirely new world of learning. Here at the Tech Center, our 38 programs offer tactile training that reinforces the learning model that most practitioners rely on for retaining information.

We will continue to support your student’s career and educational goals, but will also continue to provide emotional support for your child as we near the end of a global pandemic. Our mission is to maintain a safe environment while returning our school day to what students were familiar with just two years ago.

If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and know that my door is always open. I can be reached at brian_russell@ccpsnet.net or by calling the Hull Street Campus at (804) 639-8668 or the Courthouse Campus at (804) 768-6160.

It is a privilege to serve as your principal and partner in education.

Sincerely,
Brian Russell, M.Ed.
