Dear students, parents, and community members of the Chesterfield Career and Technical Center:
As you may have heard, the Chesterfield County School Board voted to begin the 2020-21 school year in a virtual learning model. The tech center will follow this virtual learning model in accordance with the School Board’s decision until we are able to safely transition into in-person learning.
Though this year’s return to school is different from previous, we are working to ensure our Tech Center students receive the best possible learning experience. As in prior years the Tech Center’s instructional focus for the fall includes Virginia’s workplace readiness skills, safety training, and essential theoretical knowledge needed for practical skills. As the year progresses and we work towards a phased-in return to in-person instruction, classroom lessons and labs will return to what you have come to expect from our Tech Center staff.
These documents contain answers to Frequently Asked Questions regarding the upcoming year, as well as a short slideshow with contact information for the tech center team and schedule details.
