Tech Center Transportation Request
Transportation option details are listed below.
If you would like to make a change to this request, please call the Courthouse or Hull Street main office.
Please note: it takes 4-5 business days for route changes to occur once requested.
Shuttle Bus to the Tech Center
On your student’s Tech Center day, they will have shuttle bus transportation provided from their high school to the Tech Center and back prior to end of day dismissal. Please be careful when you schedule appointments so they do not overlap with travel times. Students may not be picked up before 10:15 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. at either location if they ride the bus.
Driving to the Tech Center
Students are now allowed to drive to the Tech Center! A parking pass will be required. If you are attending your high school in person, you must show proof of your high school parking pass as well (once they are available). If you will be completing your other high school courses solely through CCPS Online, please see details below. Parking Pass Application. Return this form and the requested documents to the Technical Center office and pick up your Parking Tag.
Please be prepared to show the following documents:
- Parking Application Form signed by the student AND THE PARENT/GUARDIAN
- Vehicle registration for the cars listed on the form
- Valid driver’s license (NO learner’s permits accepted)
Tech Center parking passes are available at no cost to the student. Parking pass applications can be submitted during Orientation on August 19th, Fee Collection Day on August 23rd, or in the main office during the school year.
Update: Families of Juniors and Seniors,
We want to share an update with families regarding parking fees for students. In light of the need for community assistance with the current bus driver shortage, student parking fees will be suspended at this time at each high school.
Please note, students will be transported from each existing bus stop as usual; however, we want families to be aware there could be delays due to driver shortages.
Students and their families will still need to fill out our parking registration forms and have a school parking hang tag displayed at all times when parking on school property, but now be able to obtain the parking tag free of charge.
Transportation Options for CCPS Online Students
Tech Center programs will be held in person. Our programs do not have a virtual option. Transportation options are listed below for any students that are taking their other high school courses solely through CCPSOnline.
Option 1: CCPS Online students who will need transportation to and from home to the Tech Center may use the current specialty center hubs. Using this method of transportation, students will arrive at the Tech Center by 8:20am and will be provided a supervised location to work on their online coursework.
Option 2: CCPS Online students who are commuting to their high school (therefore do not need a bus from home) and will need to board a Tech Center shuttle bus after the first period may use the current shuttle bus system.
Option 3: CCPS Online students may drive to the Tech Center. A parking pass will be required.
