Something the students would be surprised to know about me:

My first job was as a lifeguard at my neighborhood pool and I went on to coach swimming for 12 years. I love teaching the youngest swimmers the basics and working with older swimmers on their technique. Swimming is such an important life skill! Through coaching, I learned how much I love helping others set goals and work to achieve them.
