Dr. Lindsay Porzio
PRINCIPAL

Crestwood is a special place where dedicated educators work with parents and the community to ensure student success.
I am very pleased to serve the community as principal. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from JMU, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from ODU, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Administration and Supervision from VCU. In addition, I have a Dr. of Education degree from Virginia Tech. Prior to coming to Crestwood, I served as the assistant principal of C. E. Curtis Elementary. 21 years of my education career were spent in the classroom where I was an award winning teacher. I enjoy being a mother to my two children, reading, and just hanging out at the pool.

I am very excited to be a part of the Crestwood Family! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Elmira College, Master’s Degree in Literacy from the University of Buffalo, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Administration and Supervision from UVA. Before joining the Monarch team, I was a Title I Reading Teacher in Richmond City and a Kindergarten teacher in NY. I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, reading, and traveling. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year!
