Standards of Learning (SOL)
The testing window for the school year is will be announced at a later date. Grade and classroom specific test subjects and dates will vary. Please check your child’s tracker or Take Home folder for testing information.

Two types of SOL tests are administered

  • Online Writing
  • Non-Writing Content

Remember these tips during the test dates

  • Your child is here every day and on time, (please do not make any appointments during the testing window)
  • Share with them each morning to importance of working hard and not giving up
  • Try their best and use the strategies they have learned
  • Eat a good breakfast
  • Get plenty of sleep

Prepare for your future…

You must meet certain requirements in order to graduate.  If you have passed a high school SOL course,  but failed the corresponding test, we have good news!  You may attend FREE remediation via virtual sessions with teacher support.  You must attend all four days, but you will NOT have to take the test.

Don’t miss out!
