Overview:
In this class, students will learn a variety of skills that can help them in life, such as public speaking, cooperation, communication and problem-solving. Some topics we cover are rehearsals and performances, speech presenting, costume design, theatre history, set design, and theatre games and improvisation.
Highlights:
- Sixth grade classes will explore Greek theatre and monologues.
- Seventh grade classes will explore puppet making, scenes, and monologues.
- Eighth grade classes will explore voice acting, acting, and play-writing.
Time Commitment:
Each nine weeks will end with either a monologue or scene.
