Welcome to using your child’s dashboard. The dashboard is the first port of entry that your child should go to every single morning. To get there, please open a browser tab and type in my.ccpsnet.net. Once you’ve entered it in once, it should come up each morning when you start typing it in. It will ask for your login. Your child’s login is their student ID #. I’m not a student, so I will use my own login. They should have a password leftover from last year if not their teacher should have created one and helped them change it, but you can always reach out to your teacher for a forgotten password.
The purpose of the dashboard is to house the applications we use on a regular basis and keep track of your child’s accounts. Instead of having to go to each application and log on each time, this houses everything together so they just click on the button. Important buttons of note: um your canvas button is here, um your Google Drive. Those are probably the two you’ll use most often. Um, all of the buttons are in alphabetical order to help you find them easier. There is also this thing called The Backpack that houses a few more. When you click on it, it will take you to a quick login page and you might have to click “login with active directory,” um and it will take you to another page that houses some more applications that your child’s teacher might use with them.
The dashboard can also be referred to as Rapid Identity as you can see at the top. It might be called the dashboard. It might be called my ccps. Not to be confused though with your canvas dashboard. Once your child opens canvas they have another dashboard with all of their courses. Um so if you’re not sure, just check each one until you find what you’re looking for. But the Rapid Identity dashboard houses all of their applications and then the canvas dashboard will direct you to all of their courses. And as always, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have questions or need help finding anything.
