Message from the Principal

Our mission is to model a respect for one another and inspire a passion for learning. We do this by engaging in authentic learning opportunities like Project Based Learning (PBL) and cooperative learning structures (Kagan) and by ensuring that Hening P.R.I.D.E. (Positivity, Respect and Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Engagement) is interwoven into everything that we do.

In addition to rigorous academic instruction, all students participate in Social Emotional Learning. Students learn and practice the skills necessary to think critically, problem solve, collaborate, and work as a team. At Hening, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to make tomorrow a better place. At Hening, we are all in!
