Meadowbrook Boys Soccer is committed to work for the success of each person involved with the program both on the field and off. The success of the team is a result of the hard work and commitment from players who see themselves as a positive part of their school community.
The Boys Soccer Team has qualified for the regional tournament each season over the past 8 years winning 10 games or more in each of those seasons. They have won a conference championship and played at a high level against the best teams in the state. There are numerous 1st team all region players from Meadowbrook and 2 players have been named to the All-Metro Team in the past 5 years.
For the 2020-21 school year, conditioning will begin in the Fall, but will pick up in the late winter and early spring.
For the 2020-21 school year, the season will begin April 12, 2021. There is still the possibility of a change in dates for this season.
At this time tryouts will begin April 12, 2021, but this date is subject to change. Every player has an equal chance to be part of the team and coaches make cuts based on skill, fitness, attitude, and level of commitment to the team. There will not be enough time to get into adequate physical shape once tryouts begin so athletes should attend preseason conditioning, participate in another soccer team, or make preparations on your own to run and work strength training.
Tryout Requirements/Team Requirements
A current sports physical form must be submitted before participating in pre-season training or try-outs. Athletes need to pass five classes for the 1st semester per VHSL rules in order to be eligible to play.
