Dear Students, Faculty and Parents:
Welcome to our Manchester High School website! The administrative team at Manchester High School is proud to serve our students, parents, teachers and community. Manchester is an inclusive community of scholars. Our mission is to work in partnership with students, families and the community to emphasize and support high levels of achievement through a global education for all, with options and opportunities to meet the diverse needs and interests of individual students.
We encourage all of our students to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to you throughout your high school careers. In the classroom, make a commitment to engaging in your studies and doing your best work on all assignments. Strive to apply what you are learning in class to real-life problems and situations. Once you have earned your education, that is a boundless resource that will open doors to new horizons. Your education is something that no one can ever take away from you. It will be an asset to you throughout your life.
Outside of the classroom, find a club, sport or activity that appeals to you and helps you to feel connected to your school and community. There is something for everyone at Manchester. Extra-curricular activities help you to build a family within our larger family. They provide opportunities to develop your leadership and creativity.
At Manchester High School, we are committed to providing a high-quality education to all students. Once a student, staff member or parent joins our Manchester community, that person becomes a “Lancer for Life”. That means that our school will be there for you as a resource and a support system throughout your lifetime. We hold the following core values dearly: Lancers are SAFE, PRESENT, RESPECTFUL AND RESPONSIBLE.
In conclusion, I wish you all a wonderful school year. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and know that my door is always open. I can be reached at email@example.com or by calling the school at 804-739-6275. I am honored to serve as your principal.
