At 1:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Chesterfield County Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832, the Chesterfield County School Board will hold a special meeting to take action regarding student mask use in schools in response to the Governor’s Executive Order Number Two (2022) and Public Health Emergency Order.
Due to the COVID-19 occupancy limits of the Public Meeting Room and in keeping with safety protocols established by county officials, seating for this meeting will be limited; however, citizens wishing to attend the meeting in person may do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
Citizens are encouraged to wear a face covering while inside the building. Reservations will not be accepted, and citizens are not guaranteed admission.
The School Board will accept public comment via an online form found at https://tinyurl.com/CCPS0120Comments. Comments submitted via the online form will be distributed to the Board, made available for public inspection prior to the start of the meeting, and included as an addendum to the meeting minutes. In order to provide the Board time to review all comments, the online comment form will close at 12 p.m. Jan. 20.
