The Chesterfield County School Board will hold a work session at 4 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Chesterfield County Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832.
Upon conclusion of the work session, the School Board will adjourn into closed session in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act for the discussion and consideration of personnel matters and matters that would involve the disclosure of student records. The Board will publicly certify the closed session and vote on the matters discussed therein just prior to the 6:30 p.m. start of the business meeting.

Due to the COVID-19 occupancy limits of the Public Meeting Room and in keeping with safety protocols established by county officials, seating for both meetings will be limited; however, citizens wishing to attend the meetings in person may do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
Unvaccinated citizens will be required to wear a face covering while inside the building. Reservations will not be accepted, and citizens are not guaranteed admission.
Public comment will be accepted during the business meeting. Citizens requesting to speak before the Board will be given the opportunity to comment in person at the appropriate time.
Citizens may also submit their comments via the online form found at https://tinyurl.com/CCPS0914Comments. Comments submitted via the online form will be distributed to the Board, made available for public inspection prior to the start of the meeting, and included as an addendum to the meeting minutes. Citizens wishing to address the Board in person during the regularly-scheduled comment periods are asked to contact the Clerk’s office no later than 2 p.m. on Sept. 14. The online comment form will also close at this time. Citizens may also sign up to speak in person by checking in with the Board clerk prior to the start of the meeting.
Each citizen may submit only one comment per comment period for this meeting.
