Meeting Notices – School Board Budget Meetings

The Chesterfield County School Board will conduct a budget work session at 4 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Thomas Fulghum Center at the Chesterfield Career and Technical Center @ Hull, 13900 Hull Street Rd. Upon conclusion of the work session, the School Board will adjourn immediately into closed session in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act for the discussion of personnel matters. No action will be taken after the closed session.

There will be a Matoaca District budget presentation and town hall at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Matoaca Middle East Campus auditorium, 6001 Hickory Rd.

The Chesterfield County School Board will conduct a budget work session at 4 p.m. Jan. 29 in L.C. Bird High’s auditorium, 10301 Courthouse Rd. This meeting was previously noticed on Jan. 9, 2019.

There will be a Bermuda District budget presentation and town hall at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Thomas Dale High Main Campus auditorium, 3626 W. Hundred Rd.

There will be a Dale District budget presentation and town hall at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in Meadowbrook High’s auditorium, 4901 Cogbill Rd.

The Chesterfield County School Board will conduct a budget work session at 4 p.m. Feb. 5 in James River High’s closed commons area, 3700 James River Rd.

There will be a Midlothian District budget presentation and town hall at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in James River High’s auditorium, 3700 James River Rd.

There will be a Clover Hill District budget presentation and town hall at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 in Clover Hill High’s auditorium, 13301 Kelly Green Ln.

The Chesterfield County School Board will hold public hearings on the Superintendent’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020 Financial Plan and the proposed FY2020-24 Capital Improvement Plan. The hearings will start at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 in the County Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832. PLEASE NOTE: This is a change from the School Board meeting calendar adopted on Jan. 8, 2019. The Chesterfield County School Board will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in the County Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd. The Board will vote on adoption of the Superintendent’s proposed Fiscal Year 2020 Financial Plan and the proposed FY2020-24 Capital Improvement Plan. No other business will be conducted.
