Mrs. Giuliana Brink (better known as Nina) is a native of Chesterfield County. She attended the “old” Chester Middle School and is a graduate of Thomas Dale High School. Her bachelor degree was completed at Radford University with a double major in General Education grades 4-8 and Special Education grades K-12. Mrs. Brink has taught both special education and general education grades K-10 in various areas such as Hopewell City Schools, VA; Dare County, NC; and then came back to Chesterfield, VA to raise her family and pursue a career in administration and leadership. After completing a Masters in Administration from Grand Canyon University, Mrs. Brink became the Assistant Principal at O. B. Gates Elementary in 2006. Mrs. Brink became Principal at the BEST school in Chesterfield County in 2010.
In her spare time, Mrs. Brink spends time with her three children. She enjoys spending much of her vacation time in Hatteras, NC, on the beach fishing, playing in the water, and kayaking. Mrs. Brink considers herself a lifelong learner. She is invested in ensuring that all students have the same equal opportunities to learn to their fullest potential. Teachers, students, and parents are her “#1 customers!” Mrs. Brink’s educational beliefs also include the following:
