It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you as the new principal of Robious Middle School. After finishing last school year as the interim principal of the school, it is an honor to continue our path of excellence together in the 2022-2023 school year.

For this school year, our focus will be on creating a nurturing and safe learning environment where students are able to excel both academically and socially. As we continue to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, our vision is that each student will receive the individualized support and targeted instruction they need to thrive in school. While continuing to focus on academic excellence, our team will also ensure that students have the social and emotional support needed to continue to grow. We know that our students learn best when they feel safe and have strong bonds with their teachers. Our commitment is that each student feels as though they belong and receives the individualized support needed to be successful.

As we begin this journey together, your feedback, input, and voice is an important part of ensuring each student is successful at Robious Middle. I understand that it truly takes a village to support and educate our children and we are committed to ensuring that we create opportunities for our students’ and families’ voices to be heard. Our staff also understands that a partnership is two sided and we are committed to being present in the community outside of school. From offering community meetings to attending extracurricular events, we are committed to building supportive, authentic relationships with students and community members.

Thank you for your trust and support as we work together this school year. I look forward to meeting each of you and creating a partnership. Feel free to contact me or stop by and introduce yourself!

Matt Diamond
Principal, Robious Middle School
