Frequently Asked Questions about Athletics, Clubs, and Intramurals:
- What forms should be completed in order to participate in athletics?
All students must have a current physical form, a concussion form, and a signed athletic manual agreement on file with the Activities Director before participating in any TCMS athletic programs. Students will not be allowed to try out without submitting these forms. A current physical must be dated after May 1, 2021 (A physical dated after May 1, 2021 is good for the entire 2021- 2022 school year). All forms can be found through this link.
- What intramurals and clubs are offered? What does my child need to participate in an intramural or club?
Each year, the intramurals and clubs that we offer vary. Students need to have a concussion and intramural form completed to participate in an intramural. No forms are necessary to participate in a club.
- How can I find out about tryout dates, game schedules, cancellations, etc.?
Principal Thompson’s weekly Timberwolf Tip Sheet will contain up to date information about upcoming tryouts, game times, etc. You may also contact the coach or Activities Director(s) with specific questions about information once the seasons start.
- What is expected of student athletes after joining an athletic program?
All student athletes are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner in school, as well as during competition. Student athletes are expected to maintain a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average prior to and throughout the season. Additional information about student athlete expectations can be found in the TCMS Athletic Manual.
