The TCMS athletic department supports the mission of Tomahawk Creek Middle School by working in partnership with students, families and the community to ensure that each student acquires the knowledge, skills and core values necessary to achieve personal success and to enrich the community.

TCMS offers a variety of athletic programs for our Timberwolves to join. We encourage all students to join one of our many extracurricular activities!

Frequently Asked Questions about Athletics, Clubs, and Intramurals:
- What forms should be completed in order to participate in athletics?
All students must have a current physical form and concussion form on file with the Activities Director before participating in any TCMS athletic programs. Students will not be allowed to try out without submitting these forms. A current physical must be dated after May 1, 2022 (A physical dated after May 1, 2022 is good for the entire 2022- 2023 school year). Both forms can be found through this link and submitted here.
- What intramurals and clubs are offered? What does my child need to participate in an intramural or club?
The intramurals and clubs we offer may vary each year. Students will need to have current intramural and concussion forms submitted to participate in an intramural. Both forms can be found here. Club sponsors will share requirements for participation prior to the start date.
- How can I find out about tryout dates, game schedules, cancellations, etc.?
Principal Thompson’s weekly Timberwolf Tip Sheet will contain up to date information about upcoming tryouts, game times, etc. You may also contact the coach or Activities Director with specific questions about information once the seasons start.
- What is expected of student athletes after joining an athletic program?
All student athletes are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner in school, as well as during competition. Student athletes are expected to maintain a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average prior to and throughout the season. Additional information about student athlete expectations can be found in the TCMS Athletic Manual.
