2019-20 Bus Routes

Team Chesterfield families,

While many are celebrating the fact that this is the last week of the 2018-19 school year, we already are hard at work to make sure the 2019-20 school year is even better.

Success in that regard starts with getting students to and from school safely and on time daily. We know there are opportunities for improvement in that area. That’s why we are writing you today: We need your help!

Chesterfield County Public Schools’ transportation team is creating next year’s bus routes through an automated routing system that designs bus runs and identifies bus stops. In doing so, we’ve used the information previously provided to us by you.

Understanding that circumstances (such as living arrangements or daycare) change throughout the year, we’re respectfully requesting that you complete the following survey to help us create an updated daily transportation planner. Information collected about your student will help us identify how your child will get to school, where they will need to be picked up in the morning and where they will need to be dropped off in the afternoon.

Please take time to complete this short survey so that we can be equipped to serve you on the first day of school in September. Completion of the survey by June 28 will help us create more efficient bus routes next year.

Also … stay tuned for more information about a new system for checking bus route information in August. We’re excited to share details about E-Link and MyStop, electronic tools to check bus routes/stops and also progress of the bus during pick up and dismissal.

Again, please take five minutes (or less) to complete this short survey to help us create a daily transportation planner. Your input is greatly appreciated!
