Rising Fifth Graders

All fifth graders are invited to participate in the Battle of the Books reading program.  If you decide to participate in BOB, you will read at least 10 books and take the BOB Google Quizzes to become a member of a team to answer questions about the books in a competition.  You must pass each quiz by 70% and you will only be able to complete the quiz once.

Start reading during your summer vacation.  Here are ten of the titles that will be included on the twenty title Battle of the Books list.  The remaining ten titles is a mystery and will not be released until the BOB kick-off in the fall.

To access the BOB Google quizzes, you will need to visit the Watkins LibGuides website. You can simply Google search the J.B. Watkins Library website and then click on the LibGuide (Watkins) link found on the left side of the screen.  Once you click on the Battle of the Books tab, you will find the Google quiz links for the ten summer titles.
